Once the new Crossrail project is completed, travel to London will be even easier. The line will connect Slough with Heathrow, Tottenham Court Road, Stratford, Canary Wharf and Liverpool Street Stations.

Plane

Slough is incredibly well located for those who like to travel by air. Just 10 minutes from Heathrow Airport, and 45 minutes from Gatwick, Slough offers easy access to the country’s two busiest air hubs. From Heathrow, you can fly to 185 destinations in 84 countries, while Gatwick Airport also offers a huge choice of direct services. Having these two airports so close by allows residents of Slough to get out and explore the world with ease.

Bike networks

If you’d rather get around by pedal power, Slough offers a good choice of cycling options. There are already a number of well-marked bike routes in the town, making it easy to get around on two wheels. The council plans to expand its network of bike paths in the coming years, so cycling is set to be an even better way of getting around Slough.
